Terms
A free tool, provided as it is, with no promises about the result.
What this is
A free tool that converts an EPUB into an audio file using speech synthesis running in your own browser. There is no account, no payment and no support contract.
What you are responsible for
Having the right to convert what you convert. We never see your file and cannot check, so this is on you. Making an audiobook of a book you own, for yourself, is generally fine in most places. Distributing what comes out is a different matter, and audiobook rights are frequently sold separately from print rights — the fact that you own a copy of a book does not mean you may publish an audio edition of it.
Do not use this to strip DRM. We do not remove it and cannot; encrypted books are detected and refused.
No warranty
The tool is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. Conversions may fail, sound wrong, mis-detect chapters, mispronounce names or stop partway through. It runs on your hardware in your browser, and outcomes vary enormously with both.
We are not liable for lost time, lost work, or anything that happens to your device or data while using it. Given that everything runs locally and we hold nothing, there is not much we could be liable for, but it is worth stating plainly.
Availability
The site may be unavailable, change, or stop existing without notice. Anything you have already downloaded is yours and does not depend on us continuing to exist.
Trademarks
Apple Books, Kindle, Kobo, Audible, Plex and the rest belong to their owners. They are named here only to describe what the output works with. This site is independent of all of them and endorsed by none of them.
